Some of the most beautiful work of this craftsman, and many others, are in this book “Liège Gunmakers through their Work. 1800 - 1950”.

François MARTIN

It is a revolver with central percussion top break (upwards). It’s a .450. The six-stroke cylinder has a star extractor. The trigger is curved under oval bridge. The barrel is 8-sided with triangular front sight. The wand is coming in. The two grips are made of wood  (walnut?) grid, they end with a ring and its pivot. The break pedal is lower.

The weapon intended for export does not bear any hallmarks of Liège proofs, but it seems to me that it is two English hallmarks.

It shall also bear the following marks:

ELEY’S 450 C. FIRE CARTe: this is the ELEY brand for 450 caliber cartridges with central percussion.
