Manufacture Liégeoise d’Armes à Feu

This is a five-shot revolver, caliber unknown.

Folding trigger. "Secret" security on the left side.

It is marked with the letters ML under a crown, the Manufacture Liégeoise d'Armes à feu.

The markings:

R crowned: rifled bore, of use of 1894 to 1968.

C under star: countermark of a controller between 1877 and 1968

ELG on star in crowned oval: acceptance between 1893 and 1968

The originality of this revolver is located in the round piece on the left side of the weapon.

It's a "secret security" designed to prevent misuse by inexperienced people.

When the knob is turned 1/4 turn to the right, hammer down, all movement of the hammer is blocked.
