It is about a revolver GALAND to peripheral extractor.

The weapon carries the punches of the proofhouse of Liege, namely:

ELG* in a vertical oval: final acceptance, of use of 1846 to 1893.

L crowned: countermark of the controller, of use of 1853 to 1877.

It also carries the following marks:

G crowned in an oval and crowned C.F.G: they are marks of Charles François GALAND.

C.F. GALAND INVR. PATENT: idem.

MANUFACTURE LIEGEOISE D’ARMES A FEU: it is about a factory of weapons located in LIEGE street of Vertbois, 54 in LIEGE.

2016 and 17: they are serial numbers.
