Le groupe de recherche est constitué de gens de toutes les nationalités qui ont à un moment ou un autre contribué à découvrir l'identité d'un artisan inconnu à partir de photos d'armes qui leurs étaient envoyées.
The group of research is made up people of all nationalities who get together to discover the identity of an unknown craftsman from photographs they are sent.
Je me suis permis de les regrouper et ils reçoivent un mail chaque fois que nous cherchons une identité d'un artisan que nous ne trouvons pas afin que chacun puisse mettre ses connaissances au profit de tous.
I allowed myself to gather them and they receive a mail each time we seek an identity of a craftsman so that we can all pool our knowledge to our mutual advantage.
Les questions qui ont été posées ainsi que les réponses reçues seront mises sur cette page, dans la langue de celui qui a envoyé les informations, afin que tout le monde puisent les consulter. Si vous avez un commentaire à ajouter ou si vous voulez faire partie de ce groupe de recherche, faites-le moi savoir et je vous inclurai au plus vite.
The questions which were put as well as the received answers will be uploaded in the native language which it was sent in so that everyone can collaborate. If you have a comment or if you want to form part of this group of research, please let me know and I you will include as fast as possible.

On aimerait tout savoir sur cette arme, ces marquages et l'artisan qui l'a fabriquée
One would like all to know about this weapon, these markings and the craftsman who manufactured it

Quelqu'un peut t'il nous donner le nom de cet artisan ?
Can somebody give us the name of this craftsman?
First word:
J_ET The T can be an L and I am not sure about all letters.
Between the words looks like a high placed small C or maybe an O.
There under two points next to each other.
Last word:
CRL_N__CK The third letter L can be a i. The N a k, the last K a X and there may have been some more letters.
I am sure about the CR.
Identification 2007
J’ai eu la chance de récupérer un très beau poinçon en acier qui aurait été trouvé à l’ARMAF rue du Vertbois,54 à LIEGE dans les années 1970.
Cette marque en losange représente un château-fort à 3 tours entouré de part et d’autre d’une écriture inconnue (voir pièce en annexe + photos)
Cette marque résiste à l’identification !

I was likely to recover a very beautiful steel punch which would have been found with the ARMAF street of Vertbois, 54 in LIEGE in the years 1970.
This mark in rhombus represents a castle with 3 towers surrounded on both sides of an unknown writing (see part in appendix + photographs)
This mark resists the identification!

A quel fabricant d'armes de Saint-Etienne appartient la marque de fabrique montrant un lion entier avec sa tête vers le dos, voir la photo en annexe ?

To which manufacturer of weapons of Saint-Etienne does belong the trademark showing a whole lion with its head towards the back, see the photograph in appendix.
