Lefaucheux Eugène

Revolver calibre 7 mm pinfire double action manufactured by Eugène Lefaucheux.

LF 15569 is, according to my classification, part of the 6th Amendment (which has 8 amendments).

- cylinder with stops around him.

- loading door with a lip allowing easy pinching of the opening spring.

- barrel directly screwed on the central axis.

The 6th modification is located between LF 15407 and LF 22295 with a constancy starting from LF 16051 (between 15407 and 16051 it is a mixture between the screw shifted on the axis and the direct screwing on the axis).

This 6th amendment extends from January 1862 to September 1862 and represents about 20% of the production of the 7 mm DA.

Considering that the LF 15569 is in the beginning of modification, it can be estimated that it was manufactured around mid-January 1862.

In Paris, 104 rue Lafayette.
