Some of the most beautiful work of this craftsman, and many others, are in this book “Liège Gunmakers through their Work. 1800 - 1950”.

Rissack Jean-Jacques

Here is a very interesting percussion revolver from the prolific Liège gunsmith Jean-Jacques Rissack, already extensively mentioned on the site.

That said, this revolver is in fact the culmination and concretization/combination of four patents, ranging from the internal hammer to the rod, filed between 1847 and 1853, among the twenty patents filed by Jean-Jacques Rissack.

It should also be noted that the grips is one piece.

The punches are classic: ELG on oval star, accepted between 1846 and 1893, and V crowned, countermark of a controller between 1853 (?) and 1877.
