Here is a rifle derived from the Martiny system, easily disassembled in two parts, signed Meyers-Coune.

The markings

ELG on star in crowned oval: accepted, in use since 1893;

JD: already met but not identified

Peron: inspection, in use since 1853;

FL No. 1: type of Flobert 6 mm ammunition;

K under star: countermark a controller, in use since 1877;

R crowned: striped gun, in use since 1894.

LLH: Manufacturer of weapons and barrels Laurent Lochet-Habran.
