Some of the most beautiful work of this craftsman, and many others, are in this book “Liège Gunmakers through their Work. 1800 - 1950”.

Eugène Lefaucheux

Here is a revolver-carbine for 15 mm pinfire cartridges made at the factory of Eugène Lefaucheux in Liège. English butt, eight-sided barrel, adjustable rise, smooth barrel.

Operation only in single action.

There are only two markings: EL crowned, the mark of Eugène Lefaucheux’s factory in Liège, and an x spangled, the countermark of a controller from January 27, 1877.

A similar weapon has already been identified in the past.

Finally, a beautiful and very detailed site is dedicated to Casimir and Eugène Lefaucheux:
