ErMa

ErMa (the usual commercial abbreviation of Erfurter Maschinenfabrik) was founded in 1922 in Erfurt under the name Erma -Werke Berthold Geipel GmbH, named after its creator, the last director of the Imperial Arsenal in Erfurt, Berthold Geipel.

This semi carbine -automatic E M1 is a replica of the famous US M1 developed to arm the Allied forces during the Second World War, at the time rocking the small . 30 M1 cartridge.

It is a perfect copy, using the same measurements and the same mechanism as the 22 Long Rifle calibre.
