Nagant-Remington rifle

It is of course about a rifle double REMINGTON-NAGANT (1870)

Patents REMINGTON falling little by little into the public domain, brothers NAGANT repurchased part of those, which they added to the improvements that they had already done themselves to improve system REMINGTON.

Thus they improved patent REMINGTON by revisiting the extractor which had an annoying tendency to break quickly.

Extractor NAGANT will be of two types almost unbreakable and which are articulated on the same axis as the front block. A pin the met moving when the first block acting as obturator achieved approximately half of its race.

Two types of extractors because one was intended for the weapons double and the other with the weapons single barrel!

The absence of photographs of punches limits my comments of course.
