ANCION-MARX

This is a 6 mm revolver of the "Mitrailleuse" type, according to the denomination of the time.

It carries the Liège stamps i.e:

B /STAR: countermark of the controller, used from 1877 until today.

R crowned: rifled bore, in use from 1894 until 1968.

ELG/STAR stamp in a Crowned Oval (invisible) should be found on the barrel!

Markings of the manufacturer

Cal 6: Caliber of the gun.

LAM in a triangle: Mark of Léopold ANCION-MARX, whose history is has been dealt with before.

Another marking

Letters FW with a sort of ''shrub'' in the center (subject to good reading, because the photograph is not really good!) is  a unknown marking, it could be  the marking of a foreign retailer.
